Organic Compost Available!
Greenco Environmental is manufacturing organic compost created using food waste and yard/wood waste from metro Atlanta businesses.  The rich compost improves soil texture, helps the soil hold water, suppresses plant disease and prevents soil erosion in addition to enhancing plant growth.  The Greenco compost is now being sold in bulk.  If you’re interested in purchasing Georgia organic compost, please call:

TIM LESKO

Tim.jpgTim Lesko is the Co-Founder & President of Greenco Environmental, LLC.

Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Florida and Oklahoma City, Tim claims his triumphs in life are based on “an insatiable curiosity and endless drive for success.”  Earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry at the University of Texas, Tim worked his way through college in sales, aka waiting tables and bartending, graduating 100% debt free.

Combining his entrepreneurial skills with his degree, Tim co-founded and was president of L2 Systems, developer of software for process improvements in clinical diagnostic laboratories, in Austin.
After marrying his college sweetheart, Melia, Tim was recruited by Sebia – a medical device and clinical diagnostic distribution company.  He spent several years in sales and management positions with the French company as he was being groomed to become president of the company’s U.S.  operations. In 2003, Tim became president of Sebia, Inc., managing the P&L of the $17M operation while developing and executing strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve sales, EBIT and market share growth objectives.  He led the activities of 60 employees through six direct reports, including sales, marketing, technical support, service, finance and operations.

Using his hands-on management style experience from Sebia, Tim believes in getting to know a company from the ground up.  Greenco Environmental offered a new challenge in an industry he wasn’t too familiar with,so Tim dove right in, bought a truck, became the driver, started hauling waste, completed the Compost Facility Training Workshop at the University of Georgia and is now putting his management and operational experience to use.

Tim and his wife and business partner, Melia, reside in Norcross, Georgia with their two young daughters.

Born in Hawaii and raised in Texas, Melia is a risk taker who has worked with three start ups in the past 12 years.  She prides herself on being flexible and able to shift gears midstream to make sure even the tiniest details are covered.

With a Bachelor of Social Work degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Texas, Melia is a strong communicator and observer of human behaviour.  She possesses a talent for and commitment to creating “win/win” relationships internally and externally.

As husband and business partner Tim strategizes the big picture view of the company, Melia oversees operations and human resources in order to execute the plan to get Greenco moving towards its vision.
“Working with start up companies is practically a ‘business university’ unto itself,” explains the 34-year old, “Where else would I have had the opportunity to train sales people, write sales training manuals, to be a marketing events coordinator, inside sales manager, account analyst and account executive--all during my 20’s?”

Working alongside Tim and her brother-in-law Russ in management, Melia is thrilled to be heading up her own “green” company where she applies her entrepreneurial and organizational skills.  Her experience growing and maintaining long term relationships with Fortune 500 companies at traq-wireless, Inc is an asset for Greenco as Melia paves the way to sustainable relationships with clients, vendors and the community.

Melia is an avid soccer player who plays in two adult women’s leagues.  She and her husband and business partner, Tim, reside in Norcross, Georgia with their two young daughters.
